Over the past 20 years we have developed one of the most respected training curriculums and camp formats in Western Canada. It is Vancouver Hockey School’s mandate to provide you with the highest quality of coaching and hockey instruction to all participants.
Elite Spring Break Camp (2017-2012)
Spring Break Camp is an intense 4 day curriculum designed to prepare players for competitive spring hockey. Students learn advanced details focusing on skills and positional play. This camp also features our popular inter-squad game component. Students are grouped by age and skill in order to push players out of their comfort zones.
Skating topics include:
- First step explosiveness
- Effective turns with the puck
- Body positioning
- Advanced pivots
- Puck control with speed
- Battle and Compete
Shooting and Scoring topics include:
- Short, long, and wide dribble
- Correct hand position
- Waves and cutbacks
- Passing techniques
- Shooting technique
- Special fakes and dekes

U15-AAA Weekly Skills Program
Weekly Skills Program is a 1x per week curriculum and provides U15-A1 (2009-2008) players with additional skills during the spring season. On-ice sessions focus individual skill development such as advanced stick-handling and shooting, skating techniques, scoring, and positional play. This is a great program for multi-sport athletes and players wanting to take their game to the next level. Goalies present at all sessions.
*Must have played association A1 or higher in 2022/23 to enrol in program*
