Vancouver Hockey School’s outstanding reputation stems from its quality of instruction. You will benefit from our over 20 years of coaching experience working with the best players in the game. It is Vancouver Hockey School’s mandate to provide the highest quality of coaching and hockey instruction to all participants.
Elite Spring Break Camp (2018-2010)
Intense 4 day curriculum designed to prepare players for competitive spring hockey. Students learn advanced details focusing on skills and positional play. Camp also features our popular inter-squad game component. Students are grouped by age and skill in order to push players out of their comfort zones.
Camp is not suitable for beginner (U9) or “C” level players (U11-U16).
Skating topics include:
- First step explosiveness
- Effective turns with the puck
- Body positioning
- Advanced pivots
- Puck control with speed
- Battle and Compete
Shooting and Scoring topics include:
- Short, long, and wide dribble
- Correct hand position
- Waves and cutbacks
- Passing techniques
- Shooting technique
- Special fakes and dekes

U15 Checking and Skills Camp
Open to U15 (2012-2011) rep or higher players, this camp focuses on checking, contact confidence, and skills. Sessions include battle and compete topics plus individual skills development such as skating, advanced stick-handling, and positional play. Be the player your coach can trust on the ice this spring season.
*Must have played Rep A1/2 or higher in 2024/25*

- Contact confidence
- Body positioning
- Angling
- Battle and complete
- Contact vision
Skills topics include:
- Short, long, and wide dribble

Weekly skills sessions provide major and rep level players with advanced training and game tactics during the spring season. Our professional coaches structure on-ice sessions based on individual ability in order to push each player out of their comfort zones while rounding out their overall game.
